Domestic Water Softener

 

AQUA SOFT WATER SOFTENER SERIES

Aqua soft up-flow water Softener softens the hard water and provides good quality water for use in laboratories and in various chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries.

Description:

Aqua Soft water softeners are based on Ion Exchange Technology and consists of a specially imported resin. The charged resin removes all the calcium and magnesium ions in hard water and the soft water thus obtained has hardness less than 5 ppm as CaCO3. The specially designed multiport valve takes care of service, regeneration and rinsing. When the resin is exhausted, it has to be regenerated with sodium chloride solution.

Applications:
The softened water can be used,

  • As Feed water to distillers- The use of hard water in boilers, would leave the boiler with a lot of scaling and sedimentation, hence to improve the quality of the distillate and for longer life of theglass/quartz/S.S boilers, softened water can be used
  • For Cooling water Make-up
  • In Textile processing and in Tanneries
  • In Food and Beverages production
  • As feed water to Nitrogen distillers, Autoclaves, Water baths, etc.,
  • In Laboratories and Research Institutes
  • In Hotels, Hospitals and Laundries

Note:

  • Output is based on 100 ppm input hardness as CaCO3.
  • Output between regeneration and maximum flow rate depends on feed water hardness.
  • Higher capacity plants can be designed and supplied as per the specifications.
  • M.S and S.S vessels can also be supplied on request at extra cost.
  • For AS 600 Model, the vessel is made up of FRP.
