GLASS WORKING MACHINES-FLOOR MODEL LATHE
These lathes are manufactured for precision work for glass and quartz
working. The machine bed is of sturdy welded construction; stress relieved
and all components including cylindrical guide ways are hardened and
ground to make it durable, wear-resistant and long lasting. These machines
are for extreme demanding applications in Glass and quartz working.
Specifications:
- Spindle Bore - 120mm / 150mm
- Centre Height above bed - 450mm to 650m
- Bed Length between spindle flanges - 1500mm / 2000mm.
Machine is equipped with 2 nos. 3-jaw precision ring chunks with special
clamping jaws made of alloy steel and provided with taper wedges for
eliminating any play in the jaws ensuring perfect parallel clamping. Steplessly
variable D.C. Motor for connection to 110/230 volts AC Single phase, 50 cycles.

- I piece blowing swivel with holder
- I set tools.
- Electro-magnetic brake incorporated in the machine
- Clutch for tailstock spindle incorporated in the machine.
Features:
- Hardened and ground and therefore wear-resistant dual cylindrical
guide ways in combination with the throughout machined base, stress
relieved.
- Sensitive, precise movement of the movable machine components by
means of linear ball-bushings
- Closed stainless steel cover above bed for optimum protection against
heat radiation and dust.
- Spindle drive by service-free electro-drive via potentiometer (from 0
position until the factory adjusted max. Speed) steplessly variable
through a DC Motor.
- Power transfer to working spindles via easily adjustable precision roller
or double roller chains
- Revolving directions of spindles changeable by means of a selector
switch
- Working spindle of the tailstock can be declutched by means of
mechanical clutch
- Declutched spindles can be fixed by means of a special clamping unit
- Machines are equipped with an electromagnetic brake, which can be
switched on or off, so that the working spindles come to an immediate
stand-still, and are blocked for easy opening and closing of the scroll
chucks. The brake releases automatically when the machine is started
again.
